Oceanwench Posted September 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2009 I've read that the beds in suites are kings, but those in SY and VA cabins are queen [when pushed together]. I've never stayed in a suite, so I have no first-hand knowledge. Is there a difference in the size of the beds? This is important to DH from an accessibility point of view. Many thanks! operafan Posted September 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2009 The "regular" beds are larger than a queen but slightly smaller than a king- We really can't find much difference from our king at home.
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 25, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2009 The bed in the PS cabins are a king size bed which CANNOT be separated. The beds in the SA, SB and SC cabin are regular size twin beds that can be puched together to make a king size bed. In all other categories, the twin size bed is just slightly smaller than a regular twin bed.

I have to agree with you, we have a California King HAL bed at home and the bed we have had when in a SY and a BA/VA cabin have been the same size as the one at home we cannot tell ,uch difference. I actually think their Queen is much closer to a real King size. Now when we have had the S Suite the king beds have been much larger than our King at home. I laugh because Tom seems to be so much farther over. It definitely is a lot wider than a normal King. :)
