kerrytens Posted November 5, 2009 #76 Share Posted November 5, 2009 We cruise in 53 DAYS!! It doesn't matter HOW many days you have, but is anyone as excited as I am that we're cruising? We cruised 2x last year, and this year only 1x so it's been a long time between... I can't wait!! Where are you cruising and how many days? What are you looking forward to doing? I'm looking forward to getting on the ship, sailaway, and being in the blue tropical waters! Damn straight, Deb!!! I have about 20 days more than you but I can not wait to board that plane, step off in Miami, have a day on the beach there and then board a ship again. Heaven!!! I LOVE cruisin' :D January 14 (the day we leave the, already, frigid Canadian north) cannot arrive early enough. Miriam PS. Hope you are well too!!:D
Ehpride Posted November 5, 2009 #77 Share Posted November 5, 2009 Here's what I think would help... Book a "sale" cruise if you can do it to get a fix in! They have those "pack & go" specials. Don't worry about how fancy the cabin is (I'm sure the sale prices are for those inside cabins) and maybe you could do that to bide the time. I already am sad as I don't believe we'll get to cruise in 2010. I am counting on 2011 when my stepdaughter will more than likely blow this pop stand and go back to whence she came and he and I can take a great cruise alone :) But if all you can do is shop--then GO FOR IT! :) I give you permission (HA) Debra I wish I could, but unfortunately I have a lack of vacation time :( I'll just have to rely on the shopping and daydreaming to get me through. Luckily I have a lot of stuff inbetween so the time will actually fly by!
Harlemgirl720 Posted November 5, 2009 #78 Share Posted November 5, 2009 40 days!!! we will be on carnival victory on nov 8th. leaving out of san juan going to st. thomas, dominica, barbados, antigua, st. kitts, & st. lucia. no sea days!!! this is the yearly cruise my friend and i take. this will be the first 7 day for us. we're leaving a day early so really 39 days. we're looking forward to no kids, no husbands(although we love them all dearly, we don't have to wait on them all week), and no work. someone can wait on us for a change. we're so excited we can't stand ourselves!!!:D I am on the same cruise with 5 of my Girlfriends. jules815 Posted November 5, 2009 #79 Share Posted November 5, 2009 I booked our flights for our March cruise on Destiny yesterday, and it made me start thinking about the cruise again. Now it's all I can think about! I'm also thinking about how I'd like to drop at least 10 pounds (20, but being realistic here!) and how hard that's going to be with the holidays coming up.

BIG_Steve Posted November 5, 2009 #81 Share Posted November 5, 2009 Is anyone as excited as me???? No Debra, you're the most exciting person in the world!! Ohhhhh, "excited." Yes, with 8 days to go for a weekend get-away cruise, I'm climbing the walls. We're also going on an Alaska cruise in June. The calendar is standing still on that one. lady_cruiser Posted November 5, 2009 #82 Share Posted November 5, 2009 And yes I am excited. I think I am more excited about the 318 days than the 66 because I have my first AFT Cabin with a true wrap around balcony in September of 2010.
