If you purchase a future cruise credit on board the ship can you use it with the discount travel agents or just the local travel agents?

Yes it just applies to the deposit for the cruise so it should be accepted by any travel agent. They would just have to tell Princess to apply it when making the booking.

Princess is the ones who keep track of it.

You can use it with any TA - local or online as well as with Princess.

Any TA of your choosing or no TA at all if you wish to book directly with Princess

If you do book directly with Princess, call them to do the booking as the on-line booking tends not to recognize the FCC and charges you the standard deposite.
