La Quinta Inn-Airport--Liquor store?

We bought some at a store that was somewhat like a Sams Club or Costco. There was a seperate section you didn't need a membership for that sold alcohol. Can't remember the name but it seemed to be the only place in walking distance. It was next to K-Mart.

I stayed in this hotel last year cruising out of FLL on a Royal cruise and it has it's pro's and cons:

Pros-STAFF! Very friendly and accomodating. Shuttle driver picked me up from the airport and showed me everything on the way. Asked if I was hungry, pointed out good restaurants close to the hotel and offered to take me and pick me up when I was ready to eat, which I took him up on. (he got a nice tip). Front desk was very nice also. The is a strip area not far from the hotel where you should find everything you are looking for.

Cons-Roaches in the rooms-YUCK! I am a bug freak and this was just too much for me. I am hoping it was just my room and I wish you better luck.
