esther e Posted October 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Any suggestions as to what we can do? Are there tours from hotels?

Rare debsjc Posted October 6, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2009 There is a lot to see just wandering around, without taking a tour. The old walled town is beautiful, and the Petite Champlain area has lots of cute little shops. You may also enjoy a trip to the Montmorency falls. Also the Governers Walk, from the Citadel down to the old town, is lovely.
Twickenham Posted October 7, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2009 What I would do? Take a taxi to a dock-area hotel (there are several within walking distance of the dock), check in, and go wander. Lots to see, art galleries, antique stores, museums, restaurants, etc. Quebec is a great wandering city.
maryann ns Posted October 7, 2009 #5 Share Posted October 7, 2009 Absolutely, wander around. It is difficult to get lost in the old city area because of the cliffs and the wonderful landmark of the Chateau Frontenac Hotel (do go inside and look around).
