Arriving in Quebec a Day Early

Recommended Posts

There is a lot to see just wandering around, without taking a tour. The old walled town is beautiful, and the Petite Champlain area has lots of cute little shops.

You may also enjoy a trip to the Montmorency falls. Also the Governers Walk, from the Citadel down to the old town, is lovely.

What I would do?

Take a taxi to a dock-area hotel (there are several within walking distance of the dock), check in, and go wander. Lots to see, art galleries, antique stores, museums, restaurants, etc. Quebec is a great wandering city.
