Car rental?

We would like to rent a couple of cars here on our stop in January..are there any companies that anyone knows of near the port? Haven't been to Barbados in sometime and would really like to drive around and stop wherever!

we have used stoutes both at the pier and at the airport. they have a booth at the pier, but we reserved ours online ahead of time. the wait and choices of vehicles was bad for those just walking up. there were other options also at the pier, but it seemed a bit chaotic.

Hi Steve, or any other knowledgeable CC member:

Thinking of also renting a car in Barbados and being a planner, will reserve ahead of time. Can you tell me when you did so, at Barbados Stoutes terminal- was car there waiting for you, or did you have to take a car/shuttle van to get vehicle? Thanks.

p.s. would you rent again or use a taxi?
