Temperature on Board CB

We are sailing on the CB 10/7, and I am wondering if I will be comfortable wearing short sleeves or sleeveless outfits in the evening in the dining room and other public rooms? Will I need a wrap for formal nights? Your advice will help me pack. Thanks!

I have never been cold in a public warm onboard ship -- or, if I have, it was just fleeting until the room filled up (like being an early arrival at the theatre) -- nothing that wrapping myself around a nice warm martini won't cure! Now if you're one of those people who's always chilly, by all means bring a wrap of some kind because you probably will still be chilly onboard. However, there can be a breeze on the open decks even in the Caribbean, so again, if you trend cold, you'll want something then.

When I was on CB in May, it was HOT in the public rooms. I was sweating in a long formal, strapless gown on the 2nd formal night. Apparently they did some work to the AC in July, but you should be fine going with short or no sleeves inside.

I've never been "cold" inside a ship....on deck, it can be windy, but if you're in a warm-weather place, it's not cold....just windy!

We were on her a few weeks ago and the temps were fine - neither hot nor cold.

I agree - never been cold in any of the public rooms. It all depends on you though. If you typically get cold easily, then you might be cold at times onboard. Bon voyage!

Thanks so much to each of you for your advice. Nice to know that the ship will not be over airconditioned! I hate to be cold but don't want to be uncomfortably warm either.

Two weeks ago on the CB we found the temperature cool in some areas like near Explorers Lounge, and sometimes in the Dining rooms. Our own room had great temperature control and it was not a problem there. I don't believe that the CB was any different than any other ship, It is sometimes comfortable and sometimes too cool, bring a light shirt or sweater, you can always take it off.
