Are you a clueless rude parent?

That was a very interesting survey!

I'm new to the family world...I'm pregnant with our first and the baby will be 1 year old when we go on our next cruise (March 2011 is so far away...ugg).

I am definitely remembering everything from my "childless" days and hope to show respect to others around me. I see no problem with taking a screaming child out of the dining room (or wherever) and going back to my cabin. Husband can bring me my food or I can order room service. I would certainly never put my diapered kid in the ship's pool, never let my child run around unattended, and I would clean up after them (Ive seen parents walk away after their kids have peed on the floor or thrown their cheerios all over the hallway!)

If I am clueless, how do I know if I am being rude?

I do find it somewhat interesting that 40%+ of respondents say that airlines should provide a 2nd seat to large passengers at no cost.

On that basis, as a slim gent I would expect a fifty percent discount on my airfare... Pip-Pip!
