3 year old on Aft balcony

We have booked a deck 10 aft balcony and have a 3 year old child. Have just seen that these are not plexiglass but railings. Anyone any feedback on how climbable these railings are?

:rolleyes:As a retired registered nurse and mom, I ve seen far too many accidents that people could have avoided.With a 3 yr. old and a balcony, not sure of what ship per se.;its an accident waiting to happen.Unless the door is always locked or strict supervision is maintained at ALL times.,I d change rooms.Hate to be a downer, but my opinion.How can you enjoy yourself if always worrying? Perhaps you can contact cruiseline,they may have something to block railings????

The OP may not check back on this board,but if he does I totally agree with last poster..put plainly ...a 3 yr old and a balcony do NOT mix in any way shape or form.
