Obstructed Views on Solstice

I was offered an upgrade to obstructed veranda on Continental. Is this really unpleasant or can your really still enjoy sitting out on your veranda? Thanks for any input you can give. I am really hesitant, but I am traveling solo so budget is a concern.

Any free upgrade is good. I suspect you are going from an inside to an obstructed view balcony so, it is a big plus already. :)

Or even if it's from a window-only room to a veranda you shouldn't hesitate to take it!
