Wishing on a star Posted November 4, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Hey CL-JW, Is there anything about that Caribe Balcony cabin that you might tell me. How was the bed/mattress? Any 'vibrating' motion from being towards the aft of the Ruby? Other tips? Thanks!

We really didn't have any noticeable vibration in that location. The beds were fine for us, though firm. Some folks do like to get the egg crate toppers. We always try to get a Caribe if we're doing a balcony.
CruiserGus Posted November 4, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Hey CL-JW, Is there anything about that Caribe Balcony cabin that you might tell me. How was the bed/mattress? Any 'vibrating' motion from being towards the aft of the Ruby? Other tips? Thanks! We were in an Aft balcony on Baha deck last January. There was very little motion. Just enough to gently rock me to sleep! As for a do not miss, try the Pub Lunch in the Wheelhouse Bar on sea days. The Fish and Chips are awesome. Also, the pizza near the pool is some of the best I have ever tasted. If you like it quiet with no kids, try the Terrace Pool at the back of the ship. Nice view too!
