Having a great time on the Explorer. The ship is clean and well maintained. Deck 9 has all new flat screen tvs. Food is great. Weather was great. Service is definately better than we have seen on NCL. The Junior Suite is very big with tons of storage. There was ample space for 2 adults, a 6 year old and an 11month old with a stroller and pack and play. Most of all, their kids camp is excellent. I cant get my daughter out of it !

 

Gotta get back to a pina colada !

Any idea if the pools are heated? Has the bedding been upgraded?

Pools are only heated by the sun!!!! Bedding was upgraded about 2 years ago.

19th Hole smoking

Aquarium Bar non smoking

Crown & Kettle Pub non smoking

Schooner Bar non smoking

Dizzy's Jazz Lounge non smoking

Studio B non smoking

Champagne Bar non smoking

Connoisseur Club Cigar Lounge smoking (of course!) :)

The Chamber - Only notes Adults Only...I believe it was smoking upstairs and non smoking down stairs where the dance floor/disco was.

One word of caution! Cruising is addictive! This may be your first, but it will not be your last! :D Just go with the flow and relax!

Say hello to Natalie, at the pool bar! She makes a great Long Island Iced Tea! She's consistent too! I had done, ummmmmm, some serious quality control testing over the course of our last Explorer cruise. ;)

Glad you're having (or had?) a great time! I've cruised only twice, but both times were on the Explorer. I love that ship!!! The chocolate chip cookies and Mango Mai Tais hold a special place in my heart...lol! So, when's the next cruise? :D
