Would be interested in a few hotel names that others have stayed pre-cruise, and liked.

Any with airport transportation is good also.

We have a reservation at the La Quinta Inn and Suites - Ft. Lauderdale Airport for the night before our New Year's Eve cruise sails. They advertise that they have a free shuttle from the airport and to Port Everglades. They also have free breakfast ;). Their phone number is 1-954-922-2295. Rates quoted are very reasonable.

I stayed at this one last year pre cruise. It was clean and nice. They did pick us up at the airport and there is a shuttle to the pier. When you check in, put your name on the shuttle to the pier list. They have different lists for the different ships that leave at different times. We also arrived a couple of hours before check in, and they stored our luggage for us in a locked room.
