Easter Services on Princess

Anyone have any idea what time of day Princess has their non-denominational Easter Service?

 

We will be in the Canal/Colon on Island Princess on Easter.

It was 5pm the time we were aboard on Easter. It did fall on a port day so this may vary if it's a sea day.

It possibly varies from ship to ship but on the Grand this year, the service was at 11AM. There was a passenger who is a minister who led it, my wife said. Catholics were fortunate in having a priest on that trip, and I believe Masses were offered every day and well attended. Unfortunately, priests are not on board every ship. I have always written a note to Princess thanking them for having a priest on board. It probably makes no difference to Princess, but it certainly can't hurt to thank them.

Bosox, if having a priest onboard is important to you, don't overlook Celebrity cruises. They have had a priest onboard every Celebrity cruise I've taken (12? 14?), and Mass is offered everyday except embarkation and debarkation days. And it is surprisingly well attended.

 

Clueless, without having a definite answer for you, I have to assume that the services will be in the evening. On Panama Canal cruises, the transit day is the highlight of the cruise, and I can't imagine they would schedule a service during it...no one would be there. And the transit usually starts around dawn with the ships gathered in awaiting their turns to enter the canal...hard to squeeze it in before.
