Things to do around Ft Lauderdale Terminal

Hello all,

My group are going on the Nov 21st cruise on the Crown Princess. Our flight lands at 11:30AM and I believe boarding is at 1PM?

Is there anything interesting to do while we wait to board the ship?

You probably won't have to worry about finding anything to do as by the time you get your luggage and a cab/shuttle to the port it will be close to 12:30 and in our experience we've begun boarding at 11:30. You should be able to check in and get right on the ship.

Downtown Ft Lauderdale, is not far from the port. If your idea is to avoid the boarding crowds early, that may be a good idea, but don't stay more than about 1 1/2 hours max. downtown. A good place to go would be the Las Olas and Riverwalk area, or to stay closer to the port, the Ft Lauderdale Beach.

The other posters idea of going to the ship is not a bad one, just in case something unfortunate happens that would delay you causing you to miss the ship.
