Excursion Questions! Crown Princess in 4 days

I want to bring my DSLR as much as possible off the boat and wondering what excursions and places is safe to do so.

 

More specifically I'll be doing the underwater cavern snorkel at Cozumel, string ray city at Grand Cayman, and probably just beach time/snorkelling at Roatan and Princess Cays.

 

Are there lockers so I can put a backpack of stuff in?

 

I also have a point and shoot in a waterproof case/bag but its just not the same...

I have never seen lockers to put that stuff in.

We will be on this cruise with you and have been to all of these ports except Princess Cays. If you are snorkeling with the rays at sting ray city you will be on a small boat that takes you out to it and there are no lockers on the boat.

 

I can't answer for Cozumel as we have never done snorkeling in Cozumel, but on all the beaches we've been to there I've never seen lockers. If you have booked with a private operator, you may want to e-mail them and ask them if there are lockers where you'll be.
