grak Posted November 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2009 If someone is too sick to travel, does anyone know what is involved in changing the cruise companion. I have someone else who will go but where to start?
StillPooh Posted November 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2009 If you didn't book early saver, I think you just call Carnival and pay a $50 change fee. If you did book ES, I think you're screwed.

I have someone else who will go but where to start? Call whoever you booked the cruise with.... It all depends upon which fare you booked, what the cancel policy is and where you are in that time period, whether or not you have insurance, etc.

parrotthead Posted November 18, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 18, 2009 Depends on how close to sailing time you are too.

I have someone else who will go but where to start? If you are booked Early Saver, you won't be able to substitute another Passenger (without the other Person cancelling and losing their Deposit). If you're Otherwise you should be able to call TA/PVP and do a name change, no penalty if before Final Payment, maybe $50 if after Final Payment. Call the agent you booked with and see what they recommend. ken
