bringing on wine in southampton

we are sailing on the independance on the 23th...from southampton.has anyone had aproblem bring on wine check or carry on..seems to differ from country what can get on

here n calif we usually can not bring on rccl ships

thought maybe england is different

Hi Carol and welcome to Crusie Critic, also from a fellow Calif. :). I would suggest you go to the Europe Ports of Call and ask. It is sectioned by where in Europe your traveling, Italy, UK Ports etc. I believe Southampton is in the 2nd section. However RCL as you mentioned doesn't allow for Alcholic beverages so doubt the Port will make a differance. As mentioned above, bringing alcohol on board a RCCL ship is not port exclusive. It is on the prohibited list for all ships regardless of port.
