hi tazza, the internet onboard is ok and you have to buy a plan and it depends how much you wish to spend.....if you sign up on the first day you get some extra minutes free

Now we are platinum we will get free internet , do you know how we go about getting it?

Also our daughter will be platinum, will she get an allowance also as she is only 17.

hi Karon, with you doing the 12 day cruise you will get $100 or 250 mins and i should say your daughter will get it too

 

what you have to do is sign in by using your name and cabin number (an example jsmithb123) and your birthdate the american way and once your in.... you change your password to what you want but make sure when you're finished to log off

 

if you sign up on the first day you may get an extra 30 mins but sometimes it not always the case

 

if you're not sure what to do wait and see the internet manager, his hours should be in the internet room

 

you will see the $100 come off your card but it goes back on

hi Karon, also if your daughter uses her minutes up she can use your time as long as she knows the password

 

my wife doesnt use the PC so i use her time

 

if you have any minutes over you lose it

We were told last month there was wireless throughout the ship now. We were in D602 near the casino and the wireless connection was very good.

Hi Karon, I do not think your daughter will get an allowance. I think I remember reading on Captain Circle FAQ'S that they do not receive benefits until a child turns 18. They are still counted but do not get any benefit until 18.

That is odd the website says you have to be 18 or older as I was sure I had seen Daughter as being platinum.

I just went to her personlizer and sure enough they have her as platinum and when I went to print her tickets , it is green, priorty boarding, so I wonder if she will get internet hours.

I am not too worried about it as we will have two lots anyway and all will be priority boarding.

I was just wondering. Guess I will be able to tell you for sure in a few weeks.
