MikeyToo Posted December 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2009 My fiancee and I are going on our first cruise, AND getting married onboard, next May. We're taking the Golden Princess out of Seattle departing May 15. Right now I'm elbows-deep in planning the whole thing. I want to get it all as close to perfect as I can. I know some stuff will fall through the cracks, but like I tell her, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us. We may make other cruises, perhaps even back to Alaska, but we're only getting married once (well, to each other anyway, we're both on our second time around). I'd like your help in planning all of this. If you're going to be on the ship, come by and say "Hi!".
CruisingGoddess Posted December 16, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 16, 2009 Congrats on your engagement! If you need help with details, port info, or excursion info for Alaska, pop over to the Alaska board. They have been so helpful for me as I plan our July cruise to Alaska. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=

vickie_bernie Posted December 17, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 17, 2009 congratulations, how exciting... it will be a great trip I am sure. We sailed last year to Alaska at that exact time, it was great and the weather was amazing. I have written about in my blog found in my signature. Click on May once you get to the page, that is when we sailed. Hopefully some of the things we did in port can help you plan your sailing.
