Apollo Keeps on Growing

Besides owning Oceania, NCL & the old Radisson 7 Seas. They have now purchased the 11 amusement parks of Cedar Fair, owners of Cedar Point & Kings Island in Ohio, saying no to 6 Flags who are filing bankruptcy, for 635 million. A real surprise here in Cleveland, as folks who visit think Cedar Point is a few cities away not 6 counties, but I heard about it on CNN this afternoon. A rumor that Cedar Fair was buying 6 Flags last autumn, and now this great surprise as Apollo will make a killing with them. Cedar Points is #1 theme Park with most #1 coasters on Lake Erie.

 

Now if we can become a port for NCL, as we had CLE to Ontario Canada in the 60's with Aquamarine, so a great start for Canadian cruise.

About ten years ago a couple of friends and I decided to pull an all nighter, drive 12 hours to cedar point, ride everything, and then drive back to Mass. The park was fantastic, but our plan as a whole was just a terrible idea.
