Third Person price increase

Has anyone else noticed that X is increasing the third person fare? They have gone from $399 to $649 and $749. Yikes!

Have not seen that...in fact I've seen the opposite for 3rd and 4th person...from $399 down to $309...but then again...this was noticed for Century March 15 sailing...don't know which ones you are looking at

I was looking at Eclipse TA. But caribbean sailings in 2011 are same high price. I can only imagine they are trying to discourage third persons, but that will seriously cut down on our cruising with that kind of price increase. For that amount maybe I could get a real bed instead of a hard couch to sleep on.

The third and fourth person price is not a set price - it will fluctuate just as the cruise price fluctuates. The Solstice and Equinox as new ships have higher prices than the older ships for a similar itinerary.

I wish that was the answer. The Constellation sailing in Feb 2011 is 1799 each for first two, and 799 for third. Century still has 299 but the 1st and 2nd are only paying 599.

A Century 12 night Mediterranean in a Sky Suite is $999 for the third passenger. When we priced Royal Caribbean, it was $1299 for the additional person. Possibly it has to do with the category of cabin and number of nights sailing??
