10:30 or 11 am, when I was there. They were running late and didnt start boarding until after Noon. In fact to be honest, we had trouble finding the porters at 10:30 in New Orleans. We came in a side door.

rumor had it the local newspaper had said there was a slow down going on where they were deliberately taking longer to load and unload pax to get higher wages for having to deal with 1000 more pax.

Merry Christmas

How early can you drop off bags at teh cruise terminal? We arrive early in the morning and want to do a little sight seeing before we board?

Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks

As far as an early drop off for luggage, I don't "think " there is one.

(I may very well be wrong)

I had the same thought on our cruise from NOLA,

but as far as I know they don't take any luggage before check in.:(

We live in New Orleans and Carnival called us the other day and informed us that if we prefer to come early, they would take us as early as 10:30am.

I suppose that the cruise coming in tomorrow morning is probably not at capacity so therefore, they will not need as much time to unload the passengers and luggage and will be ready for our group.
