Which royal carib ship

Getting ready to book my next cruise. Any advice between-Royal Carib Explorer of the Seas out of NYC or Royal Carib Enchantment of the Seas out of Baltimore. The Port does not matter so much as I am in driving distance to both:rolleyes:

I think it might be a tough call. Explorer is a Voyager class ship, so you have the ice skating, Studio B, Royal Promenade, large Solarium; it is larger. Enchantment was stretched a few years back to add a center section. She now has a "water park" splash zone and bungee trampoline, suspension bridges over the pool area; Explorer has none of those. Both have the rock wall, Johnny Rockets, and other RCI-typical features. Enchantment has a soaring Centrum, rather than the indoor Royal Promenade. Explorer has Portofino; Enchantment has Chops--Both are great. I've heard that there is some sort of light show on Enchantment at night (but don't quote me).

I think that you might want to check into the specifics of each ship and decide if one "speaks" to you over the other. If not, then I'd suggest you go by price because I don't think you can go wrong either way.

2 different classes and each has their great points. If you have kids you might want to try Enchantment with the splash zone and bungee trampoline but the Explorer is beautiful too. I usually go Explorer in the winter to get out of NJ but since you can drive to either, pick by price and itinerary.
