Zip Line Wight Limit

Does anyone know how strict the weight limit is for zip lines? I see on the Vallarta Adventures the limit is 250LBS. I am traveling with someone who tips the scales at around 260 give or take a few trips to the buffet.

I really want to do this excursion but don't want to leave my travel partner behind.

Thanks.

Actually I found a zip line with a 300LB weight limit in Cabo.

Understand that there is a significant difference between Cabo ziplines and Puerto Vallarta.

In Cabo, you will be hiking (in most cases) up dry and dusty mountains and then zooming across desert canyons and dry river beds. In Puerto Vallarta, for the most part, you will be zooming from tree to tree (through the canopy) or across lush river valleys. I'm sure both are fun, but they are definitely different experiences.

Yes I had read that. I dont mind the hiking and as big as my travel partner is, he is pretty strong and fit. I just want to try a zip line so I dont mind if we do it in PV or Cabo.

We ran across the same issue when we did this itinerary as DH is a big guy. We did the Los Veranos canopy, don't remember what the limit was but he was fine on that one.

I would highly recommend Los Veranos in Puerto Vallarta if you want more of the zipping through the trees. We booked direct and had a great time.
