eggypann Posted December 31, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2009 I know the buffet is open but wondering if any of the others will be open for lunch? I'd like to try the Mongolian grill before it gets too busy and was wondering if it, and other restaurants, are open on boarding day?
cruisinJenF Posted December 31, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2009 Hi! They arent really "restaurants" they are all part of the Lido/Grand Buffet and they are open when you get on the ship. Also the Rotisserie and Indian Food, sandwiches etc.
misguidedangel Posted January 1, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2010 You have your choice from pizza, burgers/dogs, grand buffet, Mongolian Grill, sandwiches (excellent!), Indian, and burrito bar. The burrito bar is great and you can have a burrito with what you want on it that they have on display! Do take advantage of it, the burrito bar is fabulous!!!!! gonecamping4now Posted January 1, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 1, 2010 I agree! the burrito bar was delicious! My kids ate mongolian grill every day. The lines got quite long but they felt it was worth the wait. So take your pick!
Ehpride Posted January 1, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 1, 2010 Everything at the buffet should be open. I always look for the seafood rice!

eggypann Posted January 1, 2010 Author #7 Share Posted January 1, 2010 Thanks for all your replies! I did notice a couple of you who mentioned the burrito bar are from more northern climes. I could be wrong but somehow or another I can't imagine that the ship's burritos are going to be close to the burritos I can get right here in Tucson!!;)
Swimware27 Posted January 1, 2010 #8 Share Posted January 1, 2010 You are correct. I was not impressed with the burrito bar at all, but I am very spoiled here in Southern California.
crzndeb Posted January 1, 2010 #9 Share Posted January 1, 2010 The Mongolian Grill is quite a long wait. My daughter and I waited about 30mins one sea day when it first opened...but it's nice and HOT and worth it. When you board, check out the Rotisserie on Deck 10 aft. Not a lot of people know about it and that's where we when we boarded. Nobody was up there. Great mac n cheese. Being originally from San Diego, I miss real Mexican food here in the Seattle area. While the burrito bar was fine, I can make the same at home. Loved the Indian food outside buy the aft pool...I think it was my favorite.
