changing rooms

Booked cabins with 4 children I took one child under age and one for my husband. Does any one know if once on broad we can get them changed and put the two kids together. Thanks, Deb

I don't think they check who is staying in which room once you are onboard. It's for booking purposes. You should be fine.

We've booked a balcony and an inside directly across the hall from each other on the Jewel in December. Told them it would be myself and dh in one cabin and the kids in the other. They booked it with one adult in each cabin but said we could stay where we like.

Is it possible to go to the purser's desk for the children to have there key rekeyed to the cabin they are now staying in?

We did this last year. The kids stayed next door to us and I just went to the pursers desk to get extra keys. It was no problem.

So you are saying you keep your orginal sea pass (with picture) and get a exta key card for the cabin that you switched into.Thanks for the info Deb

Yes, and no. Your seapass doesn't have a picture ON it. It has a picture "in" it - the picture appears in the special card-reading machine that crew members use to monitor comings-and-goings in port.

 

So, an extra card for your kids' room just opens the cabin door.
