codypaints Posted January 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2010 Okay, we got our Rum Runners ordered and plan on bringing some bottles of wine. HOWEVER, we are really wanting to bring beers and soda on the ship to drink in our room and if possible, in quiet public areas. Suggestions? Rules? We sail in 10 days!!! firefly333 Posted January 8, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2010 One bottle of wine per pax is allowed, the rest you need to not bring openly and take your chances on getting it confiscated. If they want to find it they will. I personally wouldnt overdo it, but Iv seen pictures of whole suitcases of smuggling that made it to the cabin. Carnival isnt as strict as RCL from what Iv seen. bcs819 Posted January 8, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2010 you are allowed to bring soda. We bring two 12 packs on every cruise. No problems.
luddite Posted January 8, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2010 On Carny ships, you are not allowed to bring a keg of beer onto the ship.
scperk Posted January 8, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2010 We always take a couple of twelve packs of cokes and sprites in our carry-on...they won't allow you to bring on beer from the US but we have always been able to bring it back on board in the ports.....Dennis
