LOL yes, me too, except my parents are cruising tomorrow on the Monarch, and its pretty darn cold in Orlando and the Bahamas..lol

 

They will still have a good time, since they don't do the pool, sun thing anyway. . You will find my Mom in the casino... next to those warm slot machines...lol

We just came thru -45 degree windchills...The cold make for great ice wine...It was warmer last week in the North pole then in central Manitoba:eek:

Yikes! I'm original from Winnipeg and am now in Miami....but I DO NOT forget what -45 and -50 feels like. Hence the reason I am living as far south as I can go in the US (well, I'd love to be in Key West, but no university there)!!!

I hope that the slots are "hot" for your mom. With warm she may break even, with hot, she may make a profit, even if it's just a small profit, a profit is still a profit.:D

Yeh Twiggers we are definatly a special breed..I can only wish I lived Down is Florida..Mom lives on Vancouver Island and brags about the warm weather constantly..we are going to have to talk.. I'm orignally from WPG too..I grew up in Westwood..The Canadian Forces keeps moving us all over the place..pkrchkr1 at hotmail dot com

I would rather be in Florida in the cold today leaving on a cruiseship, than in the cold northeast! Only 2 more weeks to go, and we will be in Miami! :D

I have to wait 7 more months for my cruise :(. Mean while I just got up and walked to the back door where we have one of those neat thermometers that have the little wire out the door to read what the temp is out side (without the wind chill factored in ...LOL)....oh my!! 27 degrees here in sunny South Jersey :eek: !
