Paul65 Posted January 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2010 Can any recent travelers on the Voyager tell me what the dining times are? We're considering booking a cruise in April, before she sails back to Europe. We sailed on Voyager a couple years ago and had first seating, but it was at 5:30, which seemed to early. Might go with second seating this time, but I don't really want to eat too late, either. PS - I know we have the option of My Time Dining, too, which we might consider. I'm just curious to know what the seating times are for the traditional dining.
Hypo Posted January 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2010 Everything I have seen for this season has Early Seating at 5:39. I never thought we would do this, but we opted for MTD on our 2/21/2010 sailing. 5:30 is just too early.
yogimax Posted January 16, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 16, 2010 The problem is the early dining time is too early and the late time too late. Try MTD!
NordicPrince_91 Posted January 16, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2010 We just booked Voyager 4APR and signed up for 5:30 dining - maybe I'll regret that. The second sitting is 8:00 according to our materials. Can anyone point me to a thread that describes MTD? Do we get the same table & waiter, etc? Thx
Sabiney Posted January 17, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 17, 2010 Day 1 seating is at 5:45 & 8:15. Each night after that was 5:30 & 8:00. Day 1, 3, 5 & 7 were casual. Day 4 was Caribbean and day 2 & 6 were formal. Pat
NordicPrince_91 Posted January 17, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 17, 2010 Pat - thanks for posting. I'm hoping we'll plan to take some Caribbean themed attire. Is it the same for both of Voyager's current itineraries?
Sabiney Posted January 17, 2010 #7 Share Posted January 17, 2010 Sorry, I'm not sure. I think that the only change is the ports, but I could be wrong. We did the Cozumel/Cayman/Jamaica route. We had one sea day up front and finished with two. The alternate route starts with two days and finishes with one so there may be a difference.
