CruiserJul Posted January 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2010 We are cruising on the Triumph for Spring Break and my DS wants to know what they serve on the chocolate buffet. Thanks!
Cruise409 Posted January 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2010 They had chocolate cake, truffles, ice cream. It was served the same time that they served lunch on the lido deck.

Colorado Kat Posted January 18, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2010 We totally missed it our last cruise, since it's not a midnight chocolate feast anymore. They put it out at lunchtime, but I guess we were in a portion of the Lido deck that we never saw it. By the time we noticed people at the pool with tons of chocolate desserts, everything was gone. firefly333 Posted January 18, 2010 #7 Share Posted January 18, 2010 I forgot about rice pudding :( uck... I skipped over that one. I did like the milk shakes they made, but they are tiny ones, in little plastic glasses, grab about 3 if you like them.
CruiserJul Posted January 18, 2010 Author #8 Share Posted January 18, 2010 DGP1111, Thanks for the menu. My DS was very excited to see everything that was offered! Chocolate cheesecake and chocolate fountain sound good to me!

iluvcruises Posted January 18, 2010 #10 Share Posted January 18, 2010 Just off the Dream and the chocolate buffet was one the last day. They had chocolate cakes, cheesecake, mousse, different toppings (nuts, etc.) and a chocolate fountain which they dip various fruits and cakes in. cmjb4ever Posted January 18, 2010 #12 Share Posted January 18, 2010 I thought this was a big disappointment. We had the swans with ice cream and chocolate sauce. I had chocolate "sushi" also. Nothing was really great or special. It seemed like the same desserts as usually served at lunch time in the Lido buffet area. Nothing was bad, it just wasn't anything different. CruiseHobbit Posted January 18, 2010 #13 Share Posted January 18, 2010 Remind him not to forget the Ice Cream Sunday Bar they have on Sea days. I think my dd ate her weight in Ice Cream on our last cruise.
CruiserJul Posted January 18, 2010 Author #14 Share Posted January 18, 2010 I will remind him of the sundae bar... thanks! My kids both love the 24 hr ice cream! My ds says he has 2 stomachs - a small one for healthy food and a big one for junk food. It's so true:rolleyes:.
