The Carnival Freedom's Serenity spans two decks with plush green and wicker furniture all across including reclining chairs, regular sitting chairs, and what we called clam beds (circular beds with a retractable white covering). There are two hot tubs at the front of the ship on Deck 14.

SO awesome. I am on the Panorama deck, so I think I'll be getting up early with a book and claiming one! :) Ahhhhh! I can not wait.

It was added at drydock which was only about a month ago. Brand-spankin' new! :D

Were there "chair hogs" in Serenity also? Please say noooooooooooo... Also, if the parents are hanging out in Serenity, are the kids allowed in just to get them? Thnx...

There didn't seem to be chair hogs, just a lot of relaxed early birds. I'd get up there and everything would be taken, with a butt not a towel :)

 

There were about 7 of those clam beds and I never got one except on the day we got on the ship... when it was 30 degrees.

We were on the Imagination and the Serenity area had 2 hottubs but nicer yet umbrellas between some of the chairs for some shade.

Will the Freedom get umbrellas????

This must have just been added. We were on her in November and I do not remember this at all. Did they also add these hot tubs that you talk about on deck 14? I can't seem to see hot tubs on the deck plan on deck 14.

There is a special spring built in the chairs. If you do not sit on it within a half hour of placing something on the chair that something will be catapulted overboard.
