European Explorer on Crown

We're booked for June on the European Explorer - 15 days. How many formal nights would that be? I'm doing my research and am alternately excited/overwhelmed/confused about what to do in the ports. Yes, I've been to the Europe ports of call board, and it's helping a lot - just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what was the best experience they had in some of the ports along the way - especially places like Cannes, Genoa - which as far as I can see have far too many choices for me to be able to decide what I should do on this "once in a lifetime" opportunity!

We are on the same cruise in June. I would highly recommend that you book the ship's "Florence on Your Own" tours which allows time to see most of the sights. Florence is a wonderful walking town and not to be missed. Barcelona's Hop On Hop Off bus will allow you to see most of the city and is located at the shuttle drop off area. Just wish we had more time in Lisbon because there is so much to see there, too. We are trying to decide what to do in the Atlantic ports.

Go to the cruise personalizer on the Princess web site and sign in for your cruise.

Then go to "Review Travel Summary" on the right hand side.

Then under "Review", select "Itinerary". At the bottom of the Itinerary you will see a sentence that says "Your itinerary includes x formal nights and y smart casual nights."
