What does Carnival consider a Platinum Guest? What are the benefits of being a Platinum Guest?

Once you board your 10th cruise you get these..

DH and I just took our 10th cruise on Carnival and we were Platinum on that cruise. We received VIP embarkation, two silver photo frames with the Carnival logo on them, 8 petit fours delivered one evening, and VIP dembarkation (we were off the ship and in our car by 8:15am). We also received other perks from the casino/Ocean Players Club and that included a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries at embarkation in our cabin, two free photos, and free drink coupons to use in the casino. So, it was a great 3-day cruise:D

Became a platinum cruiser this past November.

Embarkation: Really very nice not to stand in line! Received our S&S cards and off we went.......to sit in the lounge for two hours because Hurricane IDA caused the Captain to change the itinerary. Not Carnival's fault the weather was not cooperating!

Priority Debarkation: Easy off the ship and driving back home in no time!

Petit Fours: Got them twice on our cruise! I ate some of them!

Casino: I used the $20 to play in the Casino and had a great time.

Laundry: Did not use it. I preferred to do our own. However, I will be taking full advantage of the laundry service this time!

Purser's Desk: Gee, I had to wait 2 minutes once! I know it must irritate the passengers who are waiting in line for quite awhile, when someone just walks up to the platinum line and is attended to almost immediately.

I enjoy whatever Carnival wants to give me! Nothing bothers me when I am on a cruising vacation.
