Italian restaurant on the "o"

I don't know if this is the correct board for this question..........but, I've not been on the "O" for a few years and I notice there's another "no extra charge" restaurant now.

Where is it located?

Is it "special"................good............... definitely one to try?

Yes, should be the canaletto! It will be located at one end of the lido. It is no charge, but reservation recommended. I would go there for sure. We ate there 4x on our 2wk Eurodam cruise. Try the penne alla vodka it was my dish of choice!

We really enjoyed this restaurant on the Noordam. They wear Italian outfits and have Italian names. I loved the large antipasto tray they bring to you table when you sit down. Definitely go.

It is not open for lunch or breakfast. During those times it is simply Lido seating. Reservations are suggested, particularly if you want to go in the later half of the cruise.

Thanks everyone! I couldn't find my thread once I opened it, so came to my "name!"

I did find the menu on a thread and was torn between the Seafood Fet. and the "vodka" dish.............have been wanting to try that for ages and it will be my first choice!;)

Be sure to check it out. Canaletto is a great alternative to the MDR at no charge.

When did this restaurant come to the Noordam? I don't remembering it being on the ship in June of 2008, yet, we had such good food in the MDR, that it would have been hard to tear away from the food and our great servers. ;)
