Questions about Manta Catamaran

Has anyone done the Manta Catamaran Excursion offered by Johann and Sandra in Cozumel? They are offering the 5.5 hour snorkeling tour to the Palancar Reef and the Columbia Reef. It starts at 9:00am and lasts till 2:30. I called them and they said we will snorkel at each stop about an hour. They really did not have an explanation as to what we will be doing during the other time. Does anyone know? (Do we really sail around for the other 3.5 hours.

 

Also we meet at the Aqua Safari Pier downtown. I was told I would have to take a taxi to get there. Does anyone know the cost?

 

We dock at 8:00 AM and the tour starts at 9:00 AM. Is this enough time to get off the ship and get there?

 

There is an open bar after the snorkeling as we head back to the pier. The price is $40.50 per adult. I would appreciate anyone's past experience with this tour or your advice.

Hey Mom!!! Of course I can't help, but thought I'd "bump" this thread to the top.

 

Can anyone help my mom out ?? If not this particular excusion, is there a specific one you do recommend?

I checked their website and it says the tour is no longer available?? Does anyone know differently as I would also be interested?
