Cell Phone Service in Western Caribbean

The Princess ships are for some reason left off the AT&T offshore locations. However MCP (Maritime Communications Partners) provide cellular service on Princess cruises and lists AT&T as one of the cellular providers that will work with their system. Your AT&T cell phone will work on the ship when it is at sea. In port you have to use the local land based cellular systems. Make sure your cell phone has a four band capability sometimes called World Phone. The cheaper ones do not. They only have two band capability and will not work.

The Emerald Princess isn't on that list...

Huh?

MamaPuggle asked about AT&T cell service in the ports, not at sea.

"Can anyone advise of cell phone service availability in the western caribbean island ports. We carry ATT service. Thanks"
