Putterdude Posted February 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2010 I haven't used them but am very much aware of them. They have been around for years and I am sure that if this is what you want they will do a good job for you.
travelteam Posted February 1, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted February 1, 2010 Thanks for your response. We're not sure what we want to do, but since we have spent several vacation in BC - and a full week in Victoria, we thought that this would be a nice diversion from staying on the ship. I just wanted to know if they were a reputable company since I never heard of them on this board.

They pick-up at the cruise docks for various tours in the city. their website is www.victoriatours.net. They've been around for many many years. The only caveat I have is that it can get very expensive, very quickly.

They have specific tours listed for time/price?
Langley Cruisers Posted February 2, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Gosh these guys have to be in shape, hey? Unbelievable. Yes, have seen them around for years, had no idea they do actual "tours" of the city. Can't imagine trying to peddle 4 adults up to Craigdarroch Castle, but anyway... :p There are other things to do in Victoria; I honestly think this is a limited and expensive option. You can take a smaller ride if you want; in the summer, they have "kabuki cabs" which will whisk you around the immediate area. But for a tour of the city or to go to Butchart Gardens, I would recommend a rental car, an escorted tour, or public transportation. There are literally dozens of threads on this board about what to do in Victoria; the search function here is great - put "Victoria" in the box and you'll pull up all kinds of informative threads. Have fun. :)

scottbee Posted February 3, 2010 #8 Share Posted February 3, 2010 How so? They have specific tours listed for time/price? Because they'll try and add onto it. Met a few people who really didn't expect the price it ended up being.
