happycruiser1942 Posted February 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Are all gratuities pre-pay now and charged to your sea pass or do we need to take enough extra cash?
Fblack Posted February 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Tips are charged to your on board charge account each day of the cruise. You can review your on board account and see as each days tips get added. You do not need extra cash any more.

Also, if you choose Select Dining, tips must be prepaid, that is paid prior to getting on the ship....
Johnthed0g Posted February 2, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2010 That's about it really ...unless you wish to give more in cash for extra good service....
Lsimon Posted February 2, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Normal procedure now is for the base, or recommend, amount of tips to either be automatically added to your on-board account, or prepaid before your cruise. So the only reason you'd need cash for tips is if you want to give additional tips for good service at the end of the cruise. You can also add additional tips by increasing the charged tips - but any increases in the charge tips have to be made a few days before the end of the cruise. I'm not if you can do this or not if your tips have been prepaid as opposed to charged during the cruise.
