samtig Posted February 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Going on a 7 day cruise on Carnival Conquest out of Galveston soon. Haven't been in a few years and Carnival site says we are "encouraged" to limit checked luggage to 2 pieces. I would like to check 3 pieces - 2 pieces of luggage and a garment bag. Bringing stuff to entertain the grand kids so need more room. I will also have a carry on. Will I have any problem checking 3 pieces? Thanks. jensing317 Posted February 3, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2010 We never have any trouble at Galveston bringing more than 2 per person and we check everything except our purses

golfadj Posted February 3, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 3, 2010 However you will probably take twice as much stuff as you really need. Have a great cruise.

If you look at the suggested baggage guidelines they pretty much mimic the ones the airlines use. That's a big ship and it'll swallow your extra bag without issue... :)
