Deck 8/9 delux cabins Thomson Celebration

Has anybody had these cabins on these decks? We have never cruised before but are staying in one on the red sea cruise in April any information would be good.

We stayed in cabin 5 on deck 9. Great cabin very spacious, loads of storage and considering right near horizons very quiet, The only downside was it had twin beds which could not be converted as chest of drawers in between was fixed to the floor. Had a full size bathroom with bath and shower. If we went back on celebration (hopefully) we would reserve same cabin. Not sure about others on 9 but there are other threads on this forum discussing certain ones.

We stayed in cabin no.16 on deck 9 and this had a double bed, excellent cabin, loads of space.

We also stayed on deck 8 but preferred deck 9 as unobscured views from the window.

Enjoy your cruise, we are going again in June, on the Dream this time, been on Celebration twice and had 2 fab cruises.

We have had a deluxe on the promenade deck. Big bathroom even had a full size bath in it. Only problem is, people walk right outside your window, so you have to close your curtains when in your cabin.

having stayed in prom deck cabins before, you only need to pull the curtains if you have the lights on. during daylight hours people cannot see in-unless you have lights on..I stood outside our cabin looking in and could not see anything..though from inside you could see outside clearly.

Yes I've done the same and you cannot see in during daylight hours as long as you don't have the light on!!! We always choose promenade deck as its the nearest thing to having a balcony !!
