Coral Breezes

Jan_In_Maine - you are correct. The first stop is Bannister where those who don't want to snorkel can get off the boat and start enjoying the beach. After the snorkeling trip, everyone is at the beach for 1.5 hours or so. The spot to see the manatees is on the way back to the port, so everyone does this. I think it is hit or miss if you see them or not, but we got lucky and saw about 5 or 6. They were mostly just below the surface of the water, so we saw pretty much just a form, but one did get near the boat so we were able to see it pretty well. I wasn't necessarily looking forward to this part of the excursion, but it turned out to be pretty neat.
