Ronday Posted February 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2010 I'm taking my first cruise on Sunday (heading out a bit early to enjoy some warmth first) but wanted to say thank you to all of you and to CC. There's so much information. It's great for a 'newbie' to be able to come here and get help, advice and to read everything. It's made everything so much easier! (except for the packing... lol) To those in the path of the snow storm that are traveling this weekend, safe travels!

fshagan Posted February 5, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2010 You have to check back in afterwards and let us know how it went! Some of us live vicariously through the year until our next vacation!
WhenIsOurNextCruise Posted February 5, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2010 Even though we have been on 20+ cruises, I still remember every detail about our first cruise on the Sovereign of the Seas in 1989. We took tuxes and long gowns for formal nights and costumes for the masquerade party and cowboy hats for western night and won the twist contest and my sister won the lip sync contest and we all had a blast! I won $2,500 in the casino the night before St. Thomas so everyone got GOLD for Christmas. Things have changed a lot (no tuxes, costumes or cowboy hats), but we were hooked for life. Unpacking once and waking up in a beautiful new place every day is my idea of the way to see new places with the least amount of hassle! I hope you have the most wonderful cruise and keep coming back for more! Cathy

It's a lasting memory that we've built on several times a year for the last 20 years. It's also so nice to see such a positive attitude on here. Ronday - Creat wonderful memories and be sure to share them with us when you return.
