Segways...

Hi!

Wondering if anyone knows 'the' place to rent segways close to the port area... I will be there in March and have seen them before on the boardwalk area-they look like FUN.

It is not offered as an excursion on our ship so any info you could provide would be appreciated.

I found a post on 'trip advisor' about it by googling st. martin segways. It said "a little stand on the promenade in Philipsburg. Near the pier in the middle of town." One post mentioned it was like $30. And yet another post from 'cruise line fans' had contact information: "The segway, rental information is as follow the contact person in that establishment is Sonya her number is 011-5995-221132 or Eddie 5221142 their email is s.duinkerk@hotmail.com she can answer any additional questions and make any reservation if necessary."

I sent an email & have already heard back. We now know what we will do while in St. Martin.

Another thing to cross off my 'bucket list'! :D

I rec'd very nice & quick emails from the person who's email is listed in Ellusionz post below.

This is the basic info they sent to me:

 

"Depends on what ship you will be cruising, you can book directly with that ship. We work currently with Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruises, Celebrity Cruises. If you will be traveling on any other ship you can take the water taxi and go directly down town to book the tour.

 

Tour Duration /Guided Tour

1 hour 15 min - $60 per person

30 min - $30 per person "

 

I'm really looking forward to trying this out next month. :D
