escargot in the MDRs on Carnival???

I adore escargot, and i noticed its on the menu for the specialty steakhouse on the carnival splendor. i want to know if they serve escargot in the main dining rooms as well? or is this just in the specialty restaurant? i dont really want to spend $30 just so i can eat some...

The Escargot are only in specialty restaurant on NCL :mad: and NOT in MDR. :confused: I might have to change my main cruise line to NCL to CCL.

They offered it in the MDR on the Conquest in January 2010 ...

I've had it on all my Carnival Cruises in the MDR one night of each cruise. Also, I remember it on a RCCL ship out of LA.

Yes, we were also served escargots in the Main Dining Room on the Carnival Freedom (night 5 of a 6 night cruise).

We had them the second elegant night in the MDR. I had never had them before, but as my friend said they were very good, I asked our wonderful waiter, Ishvar, if I could get an order. No problem. Lots of butter and lots of garlic, and the taste was phenominal! Now if I can just get over the fact that I ate snails, I'll be OK. Would I order them again? YES!

Yep...Served in the MDR and I always order two....Yummmmmm.....

The escargot in the Steakhouse is a really different presentation.....
