There always seems to be the topic that gets beat to death on the CC boards and I can remember a few of mine...whats yours...

2008--CHAIR HOGS

2009-SWINE FLU / Anytime dining on Carnival

2010--LUGGAGE DRAMA

i remember several years ago about a logbook left on Carnival ships, most of the time in the Library... wonder if they are still there? maybe I can start that thread again...lol.

I created that thread while onboard Carnival Freedom November 2008 (aka. "The Monkey Cruise").

I regretted posting that one after it went the direction it did. :o :o

I was on that cruise :D

"Can you fish off the back of the ship"? I never really understood this one *L*

Ms Tori was a classic thread, but the one that I enjoyed the most was....

http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=962247

"Bringing your own sheets"

Which tied with another by the same poster...

http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=964755&highlight=

"Life Boat – Assigned based on stateroom Cat.? "

Thank you for the laughs! :D

Let me think:

Threads supposedly by crewmembers

Crewmembers wages

Skipping Muster

Miracle and the infamous Grapes

Captain sailing or not sailing through hurricanes

Leasing Carnival ships to FEMA after Katrina

Any mention of an assault on a cruise ship

No more free drinks at Captains reception

The ___ Method (forgot the name) for finding your cabin (Kelley?)

Restraining your balcony doors open

The blue light in the toilet

Going in the crew areas

Butter - too hard or too soft

Stabilizers not being used to save fuel

Tablemates

....

It wasn't just one thread by that lady it was a number of them. The best was the "My ex-husband is in jail and I need a permission letter for the child from him!" or something like that. She actually had six threads on the first page at one time. I became fascinated/horrified by her and followed each silently. I was so happy when she went on her cruise and seemed to disappear. Then, she pops over to the "Oasis of the Seas" board where I have been since it is my next cruise. Suddenly I start to see a number of threads from her on that board since she is planning an Allure cruise in two years....

She is on one of my group cruises..just sayin

My favorite drama involved a guy who had bought a watch in one of the shops on the ship, the watch broke and he was furious, and I mean FURIOUS that Carnival would not pay for the repair or replace the watch. After about the fourth page, he let it slip that he had had the watch for 1 1/2 years.

It was hilarious.

The funniest I read was a lady, I think, wanted to know where they could smoke I think on Summit. Well someone answered and said fags were allowed on blah blah. Well this lady didn't know that cigs are and were called fags. This started it!!!! It was really something. Look it up in search and put fags and then I think it starts with Please dont be cruel but:D

That's exactly the one. It was a "Post your formal attire" thread & she posted pictures of herself in chainmail & the sort & someone realized her cruises listed were of the Swinger persuasion.

Man, that was entertaining.

So entertaining, I saved it :D

And here's the dress in question:

You just can't make this stuff up.

Well now that I've finished reading all of the posts, I see I wasn't the only one who saved this. Wished we'd been on that cruise; great entertainment!

Isn't that where that Tom n Cheryl dude stays?

How would I know? I don't read everyone's postings..

I just thought Carnival had larger suites.. not an owners suite like on RC or Celebrity.. Carnival's definition of owners suite must be different from X or RC.. which usually has a butler.. and other amenities:D

Yeah, there's 2 on MOST of the Fantasy class ships at the top of the atrium.
