Insurance Recommendation for New Zealander

wondering if any cruising Kiwis can recommend a NZ travel insurance policy please?

Hi we used Flybuys(state) when we travelled last year this year we have taken out Southern cross travel insurance both good prices and seem to cover everything travel agents one do.Hope that helps

thanks debbie. had briefly looked at Southern but wasn't sure whether i needed something more comprehensive. will have another look. Insurance - important but aaargh!

We have always used Southern Cross.

Just buy it on line.

We had one claim with them and they were great to deal with.

That was when we had a trip booked to the USA and were due to fly out when 9/11 happenned and the skies were closed, and the tour was off.

Got everything back ,save about $30.00.

But most companies seem to be OK.

Our TA always gives us a quote,

wether we ask for it not.

I think they have to, just in case anything happens.

Just dont leave our shores without it.

Have seen so many simple accidents, eg. slips on wet deck etc , that have been very expensive.
