Walking from Havensight to Town

Sorry if this double posts. Is it possible to walk from Havensight Shopping area into downtown area of St. Thomas? Is it safe? If I walk a lot do you know how long it would take? Thanks in advance for your replies.

It's safe to walk. It will take you about 1/2 an hour to walk. When it's very hot out it feels like the endless walk:mad:

We always walk from Havensite to downtown. There are sidewalks and it is quite a nice walk. Depending on how fast you walk, I would say it would take between 20-30 minutes. You will take a left once you get outside of the Havensite area and walk along on the sidewalk along the bay to downtown.

I am a walker but I would not walk it. I think it is probably safe but I think it is probably farther than it looks. For $3 per person for the taxi ride, I would just jump in the taxi and get into town and then do plenty of walking in town.
