make that 3 romps in the hay with my DW and BTW I know about farms .You put a blanket over the straw

:cj

Bragging or complaining!? Now I see why you don't smoke, it'd catch the hay on fire afterwards!:p Sorry couldn't help myself! This really has nothing to do with smoking/no-smoking so have a good time hijacking the thread!

One solution to the issue. Create a smoking lounge on each deck (or every other deck) just like airports have.

Unfornutately for me and other non-smokers, this will never happen. Space is too much at a premium on a cruise ship. That's why we sleep in cabins smaller than some home's bathrooms. :D

but a smoker is more likely to partake in those behaviors. The non-smoker is more likely to partake in a healthy lifestyle of eating healthy and exercising regularly including walking and riding bikes, and using less perfume.

:cj

Healthy lifestyle? Gosh, you've never met me! :D

Topic: To smoke or not to smoke

Why stop there? How about the following "issues"?

Drinking has caused some passengers to fall overboard

Solution: BAN passengers from drinking on cruise ships.

Issue:

Babies have caused sleepness nights for some passengers

Solution: BAN babies from cruising

Issue:

Older passengers may trip and fall

Solution: BAN older people from cruising

Issue:

Weigh Gain, some passengers by their own admission gain weight

Solution: Ban food from all cruise ships

Issue:

Skimpy bathing suits, some passengers wear skimpy bathing suits

Solution: BAN all swimming, close all pools on cruise ships

Issue:

Gambling: some passengers gamble their life savings away

Solution: BAN gambling on cruise ships

Issue:

Too many issues not enough solutions and thus...

Final solution: BAN all cruise ships

Happy now?

PS.

Issue:

Too much time Cruise critic causes high blood pressure

Solution: BAN Cruise Critic

Well if there are current smokers reading this thread who are looking for a sign, here it is!

You can quit, you can do it! I have posted an earlier link, but google anything you can find and make it your job to stop today.

Nicotine is extremely addictive and I feel for those who cannot give up such an expensive and unfortunate addiction. If one person even tries to give up smoking it is worth reading all the nonsense spewed by posters like the Catman, who are trying to set back health care views by about 50 years.

I realize smokers get funny about their rights because like anyone with a true addiction, it is multifaceted and not a simple thing to face losing. The prospect is truly scary.

So don't delay, quit today!!:):):)

I liked how RCI did it on my Mariner cruise recently. There are no-smoking bars and smoking bars. Smoking is allowed in the casino but there were at least 2 no-smoking nights. I enjoyed a cigar at the conniseurs club one night and a non-smoking environment otherwise.

I agree but with the more radical non-smokers this is not acceptable because they can't go into the smoking area without being innudated with smoke! WOOOOWWWW!

just add balconies to the no smoking zone and their policy would be acceptable

True. It's been fun bantering with you Capt Jake, but I have to leave for awhile. I have to earn some money to pay for health care and all those other socialist programs for the lame, lazy, and crazy!:D

ISSUE:

Evening Dress Code: Those not complying with suggested/recommended evening dress code.

To you and many other non-smokers, nut not to us smokers. If done in a considerate manner, smoking on a balcony should not be an issue. There are ways to do it without affecting neighbors. And smokers should have the same right to enjoy their cruises as non-smokers as long as they follow the rules of the cruise ship.

The problem is I have to breath you smoke too.

All the rest only herts the gambler/old person/fat person.

Your smoke makes my clothes smell bad.

Your smoke does not allow me access to areas of the ship.

Your smoke affects my cruise, the rest does not.

Sorry but post like yours makes me very angry.

WHO's he another socialist parrot from the UN? Like they don't make reports match their desired agenda. Fuzzy logic is not scientific proof. Just because you repeat something a million times doesn't make it true!!!:D

Wow, you don't really believe all that stuff?

If smoking is so good for you why not let your kids smoke too.

Start them young, that's what I say.
